Matt Smith is Director of Commodity Research at ClipperData. Matt specializes in extracting key themes from technical and fundamental analysis of the global energy market, and communicating these through daily and weekly deliverables.
He also provides oil and natural gas analysis and commentary to national and international media outlets that include CNBC, CNN, Fox Business, Russia 24, the Wall Street Journal, MarketWatch, AFP, Bloomberg, Reuters, and the Oil Daily.
Prior to joining ClipperData, Matt worked for eight years at Schneider Electric/Summit Energy as a Global Commodity Analyst, where he also founded and authored the blog, Energy Burrito. Matt started his career at the Royal Bank of Canada in the UK, spending eight years with the bank. During that time, he managed $55 million in assets as a portfolio manager and financial analyst.

Dr. Jerry V. Teplitz' background is as unique as the techniques and approaches he teaches. He is a graduate of Hunter College and Northwestern University School of Law. He practiced as an attorney for the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency.
At that point, Dr. Teplitz’ career took a dramatic change of direction. He studied and received a Masters and Doctorate Degree in Holistic Health Sciences. He was also on the faculty of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Institute for Organization Management for nine years.
Dr. Teplitz has been President of his consulting firm and as a professional speaker, he has spoken at over 1800 meetings and to over one million people. He conducts seminars in the areas of leadership, management, stress management, employee productivity and sales development.
Dr. Teplitz has spoken at the NACM National Conference two years in a row and at the National Agriculture Credit Conference, National Cement Credit Conference, NACM Midwest Regional and the NACM Central Conference. He has also spoken to the American Bankers Association, Conference of State Bank Supervisors, FDIC, Credit Union Executives Society, the South Carolina, Louisiana, and Arizona Credit Union Leagues as well as to many state financial associations and banks.
Jerry is the author of Switched-On Selling and Switched-On Networking, both Bestsellers on Amazon. Other books he has authored include Managing Your Stress In Difficult Times, Switched-On Living and Brain Gym for Business.
Articles on Jerry have appeared in such publications as Successful Meetings, Prevention, and Travel & Leisure Golf Magazine. He has also been listed in several editions of Who's Who in America and now hosts an internet radio show called Healthy Alternatives.
Jerry is one of only 600 speakers world-wide who has earned the title Certified Speaking Professional from the National Speakers Association. Finally, he has been selected by the Professional Convention Management Association as a “Best-In Class” speaker and by the Canadian Society of Association Executives as an Association Excellence Speaker based on the quality and impact of his presentations.

As the Director of Intelligence Services for First Data’s Threat Intelligence & Analytics team, Jaclyn Blumenfeld helps clients implement intelligence-driven fraud solutions. Jaclyn leverages her background in intelligence analysis and strategic client relationship management to oversee an innovative product that combines dark web monitoring and advanced analytics to prevent fraud. She joined First Data from one of the leading cyber intelligence firms and spent several years working in both federal and private-sector intelligence before that. She holds a master’s in security studies from Georgetown.
Cyber, Fraud & Risk
Christian took an unusual path to a career in Security & Risk. After graduating from NC State University with degrees in Political Science and Agricultural Education he taught Biotechnology and Horticulture in North Carolina, before transitioning to the United States Secret Service to fulfill a lifelong dream to serve as a Federal Agent. Christian spent seven years in the USSS eventually serving as Investigative Team Lead for the New York Field Office Electronic Crimes Task Force, a global leader in cybercrime enforcement.
During his tenure with the USSS, Christian worked on dozens of high profile data breach, payment card fraud and electronic currency cases, helped build the Critical Systems Protection program, and spent significant amount of time in stairwells, crawlspaces, and wheel wells. In 2014, Christian joined the global payment processer First Data to focus technical fraud investigations and technology development. Christian has recently expanded roles and now manages the acquiring risk monitoring and Gyft Solutions risk teams, where he continues to help defend the global financial infrastructure and protect consumers.
